VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Configuration Manager in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate would be an analyst experienced in tracking, analyzing and coordinating ship design Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Proposed Change Work (PCW) as part of the configuration management process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to new build ship program office in the execution of program and project configuration management and in accordance with contract requirements.
• Provide shipboard systems configuration management, to include acquisition, operation, maintenance, and lifecycle sustainment.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience with US Navy ships and shipboard systems in configuration management, acquisition, operation, maintenance, lifecycle sustainment
• Experience in design, construction, and fleet introduction of Naval Ships to include design changes, ship alterations and identification of how these alterations affect configuration, operations, training and life cycle sustainment
• Experience evaluating and processing ship design Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Proposed Change Work (PCW) submittals
• Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process, including regulations, directives, and statutes, the Navy’s application of the DoD acquisition process .
• Must be familiar with NAVSEA and industry standards and best practices for managing shipboard configuration.
• Active Secret clearance
• BA or BS degree preferred

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with US Navy platforms, surface and air-launched weapon, C4I, Sensor, and Electronic Warfare systems
• Experience with Foreign Military Sales program a plus
