Logistics Analyst
VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking Logistics Analysts to work in Ft. Meade, MD. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will be perform a variety of logistics tasks which are broad in nature and are concerned with the design, implementation, operation, and performance of logistics functions, including supply chain, acquisition, distribution, transportation, warehousing, training, and operations and maintenance.
Job Requirements:
Level I Requirements
•Workflow requires analyzing, applying and performing logistics support that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
• Recommends inventory management reporting and record keeping efficiencies, where and when appropriate, conforming to Agency governance and practices.
• Must be customer focused in maintaining accurate and timely records for items under the jurisdiction of the organization or the Vendor’s Task Area.
• Reliance on instruction and pre-established guidelines are expected at this level of performance.
Level II and III Requirements
• Quality oversight for timeliness, artifact/records, and reporting, using computer-based portals and information repositories are familiar to the compliance are clear and timelines are understood by
management and Analyst IAW those guidelines.
• Position may involve the application of professional scientific approaches to analyzing and solving a wide variety of management, operational and modeling and simulation problems.
• Work may include the application of mathematical, statistical, economic, and operations research methods and techniques to identify and analyze alternative solutions to problems.
• Responsible for the review and validation of information pertaining to logistics operations.
Job Qualifications
Level I
Minimum Education Requirement: Associates Degree.
Experience: 2+ Years in DoD life-cycle acquisition logistics supporting electronic or information systems to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.
Level II
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: 4+Years in DoD, or other federal agency with extensive demands for logistic support and operations.
Level III
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: 6+ Years in DoD, or other federal agency, with extensive logistic support and operations for IT or electronic systems to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. For this position, VISTA will consider only applicants with Secret security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
