WEB DEVELOPER (Database and System Admin Experience)

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Web Developer with Database and some MS Windows Systems Admin experience to work at Scotts AFB, IL. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will provide technology application development support to include but not limited to the following:

Job Requirements:
 

• Maintain the existing web-enabled database application to allow the users to place online requests
• Design, develop, and implement future iterations of the Common Access Card (CAC)-enabled application, online request form, Management of applicant records, Distribution of test vouchers and annual maintenance-fee tokens, Tracking use status of test vouchers and annual maintenance-fee tokens and Tracking of pass/fail status of student.
• Maintain existing databases supporting websites and create new databases as required to support mission needs. Implement changes to the system using ColdFusion, Model-Glue, MS SQL, and Git technologies.
• Design interface changes using industry-standard technologies including but not limited to Hypertext Markup Language 4 and 5, Cascading Style Sheets 2.1 and 3, jQuery, Bootstrap and other design frameworks.
• Maintain, monitor and update the authorization system connection using the secure Lightweight Directory Access Protocol to Air Force Directory Services as the authoritative source for user lookup
• Coordinate with Air Force Directory Services to resolve outages. The contractor shall maintain and update the data source connections to the Defense Manpower Data Center's Defense Workforce Certification Application as the authoritative source for user certification status.
• Design and execute ad-hoc data queries between the DoD 8570 system and other data sources in support of the Air Force 8570 Program Office, Air Force Career Field Managers and Major Command Information Assurance Managers.

• Bachelor's degree plus minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
• Some out of state travel required.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and make decisions in support of the work performed.
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to pass a government background check.
