VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Systems Administrator in McLean, VA. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will provide the following support:

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop problems, application issues, and server issues
• Effectively troubleshoot and resolve server and application outages
• Maintain, manage, and monitor Microsoft Window servers supporting a wide variety of applications
• Responsible for installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of AWS environment
• Create and maintain system documentation

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as an administrator of Windows servers 2003 and up
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience supporting users and resolving user issues in Windows desktop environments
• In depth understanding of Active Directory and solid understanding of email delivery
• Clear and precise communication skills
• Experience with migration to Cloud Amazon Web Services
• Building, deploying and Managing infrastructure with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure Services or other Cloud Providers
• Experience with enterprise backup software such as Veritas Backup Exec or others?
• Exposure to various operating systems such as Linux or UNIX
