Logistics Analyst  (170195)

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst in Washington DC. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will provide the following support:

• Assist in developing a phased logistics approach that defines broad logistics concepts early and then becomes more defined and detailed as programs mature. These logistics plans and analyses, with supporting documentation for all PEO LCS systems will be generated or revised to confirm to significant program events or milestones from program initiation through life cycle support including ILAs Milestones decisions.
• Provide analysis, assistance and support in the development and maintenance of Logistics Resource Funding plans or equivalent.
• Develop, review and update logistics plan, products or analyses to include ALSP, LCSP, training curricula, training materials, manpower requirements, maintenance plans, supply support management plans, technical manuals/technical drawings, and reliability/maintainability analyses.
• Provide expert acquisition technical support in the primary logistics areas to include maintenance planning, supply support, technical data, configuration management, design interface, facilities, PHS&T and related areas
• Provide expert level support in management of acquisition activities.

Required skills and Qualifications:

• Must have a thorough understanding of AMCM/OAMCM Equipment and Parts
• Working knowledge of Navy supply system
• Self-motivating abilities that can meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills
• Works independently with good decision making skills
• Interacts professionally with all levels of employees and customers both civilian and military
• Knowledge of database management;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. For this position, VISTA will consider only applicants with Secret security clearances or applicants who are eligible for Secret security clearances.
