Facility Planner

VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is seeking a Facility Planner in Huntsville, AL.   The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will provide onsite facility and installation support services to Headquarters, Army Materiel Command (AMC) and 23 AMC installations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management, administration and execution of the Headquarters, AMC facility and installation support services programs
• Provide training and technical assistance to AMC installation users for the Real Property Planning and Analysis System (RPLANS) and assist them with development of installation facility requirements
• Review installation real property (Headquarters Installation Information System (HQIIS)) and force structure (Army Stationing and Installation Plan (ASIP)) data to ensure accuracy and completeness of RPLANS facility requirements.
• Conduct on-site RPLANS, HQ IIS and ASIP training at AMC installations
• Manage the storage and work flow of office electronic documents

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years’ experience with Microsoft Office software (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) in a business office environment.
• BA/BS degree, preferably in a technical discipline
• Able to travel 1 week/month
• Experience manipulating data and creating reports using multiple data sources
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Access and Excel Certification
• Excellent electronic document organization, storage and work process tracking skills
• Experience working for federal or other level government agencies or military services
• Familiar with the use of facility planning criteria to develop facility requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with any custom automated systems used in facility planning, especially RPLANS, GFEBS, ASIP, HQ IIS, ISR or equivalent systems used by other services, government agencies or
• Provided instruction on use of automated systems
