Cost Estimator
VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking an experienced Cost Estimator who can turn requirements into a complete financial understanding for the Navy and translate requirements into cost through data collection, model building, and cost or risk analysis.
Position Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with defense cost estimating
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Experience with statistical regression analysis and probabilities
- Experience with discrete event simulation, including Monte Carlo simulation
Position Qualifications
- Experience with DoD acquisition and supporting major milestones
- Experience with the manufacturing process flow
- Experience with supply chain management and logistics
- Experience with management and business development
- Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills
- BA or BS degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or Economics
