Mid/Sr Level Scheduler (190045)

VISTA Technology Services (VISTA) is looking for a Mid/Sr level Scheduler to support a Navy PMO in Washington DC. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results oriented company and will manage and develop Expeditionary and Surface Warfare program schedules.

Job Requirements:

• Provide schedule development expertise and ensure schedule development and schedule maintenance is in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures.
• Perform schedule variance analysis. Develop schedule variance analysis and assist in development of corrective action planning.
• Prepare schedule custom reports, layouts, and filters in MS Project and prepare schedule briefs for delivery to senior levels of client organization.
• Effectively manage multiple schedules simultaneously with varying degrees of complexity
• Develop risk reduction or mitigation approaches for improving schedule planning, control, and execution.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5-6 years of experience with scheduling and program planning
• Government PEO or large-scale program office experience.
• BA or BS degree required
• Superior customer interface with management, demonstrated initiative and the ability to plan and organize work
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project
