Business Systems Analyst
VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking Business Systems Analyst to work in Ft. Meade, MD. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will provide business systems support.
Job Requirements:
• Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements;
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Provides mid-level expertise in information modeling;
• Performs analyses to develop fully attributed logical and physical information (data) and business process models;
• Includes analyses of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation to parallel business strategies;
• Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist of most phases of systems analyses, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment;
• Requires specialized experience to include: developing comprehensive requirements specifications for complex systems/applications and
• Develops and applies organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software and database management systems.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree preferred. Coursework in IT-related academic disciplines, e.g., Information Systems, Information Technology Management, or Data Analyses is advantageous. Experience: 2+ Years in Federal or DoD Business Systems.
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. For this position, VISTA will consider only applicants with Secret security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
