VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking an experienced SAS Developer/Administrator. The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will work onsite in support of our Federal Government Customer.
Experience Required:
- 3+ years of hands on experience with SAS web tools, SAS Stored Processes, Macro, Graph Stat, OLAP Cube, Information map, SAS BI Dashboard.
- 2+ years SAS system administration experience encompassing entire SAS EBI suite of tools with in-depth understanding of SAS metadata server, application server, web server, web application server, SPD server, stored process server, load balancing server cluster.
- Hands on experience with SAS Management Console, SAS EG, JMP
- Experience in developing sophisticated data flows using multiple data sources (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, and ODBC)
- Experience with extracts, joins, loads, User Written and other transforms.
- Be proficient in Base SAS Programming (DATA Step), SQL programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language, ODS, Reporting and Summary procedures and SAS Array processing for use in making code more efficient.
- Experience with Security and Authentication topics (related to the access of source data, the access of data within SAS on the SAS servers across the different business organizations.
- Must have project Experience with implementing advanced SAS coding techniques to optimize performance and have developed best practices for efficient coding due to constraints of hardware storage and memory.
- Experience with SAS software administration; including software configuration, updates, patches, and hotfixes and license renewals as needed.
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle, software development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in Healthcare data analysis, systems analysis, software implementation, software development, or technology customer service
