LIBRARY FELLOW
VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a full-time Library Fellow.
The selected candidate will be a fully-integrated library team member and will be trained and involved in all library operations including reference and bibliometrics, cataloging, document delivery, scholarly communication, instruction, and outreach/marketing. The fellow will receive substantial training and gain valuable professional experience in a science library. S/he will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented library team at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
Requirements:
- Must have an ALA-accredited Master's Degree in Library or Information Science
- Knowledge of library principles, concepts, and methodology
- Excellent customer-service skills and orientation are required
- A background in science or work in scientific / biomedical settings a plus
