VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a DMSMS Logistics Product Support Analyst to support our NAVSEA customer in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid position reporting on-site 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Support NAVSEA Product Support (PS) Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM)
- Provide Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)/Obsolescence Management, Spares Planning, Program Support Data (PSD) and Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAM) management
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and skill in the application of the spares planning and budgeting process, to include BAM, PSDs, Variance Workbooks, initial and replenishment sparing, DMSMS/Obsolescence Management, material harvesting coordination and related products and processes
- Assess and identify DMSMS/Obsolescence management risks related to product support
- Apply logistics principles and methods to specialized logistics support, sustainment, and readiness efforts throughout the product life cycle
- Assist with preparation of logistics support documentation and source data, for PSD and annual Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAM)
- Gathers, analyzes, and organizes information from various sources and prepares briefs, reports, budget reviews, and presentations for leadership O-6 level and above
- Provide program office IPS/ILS meeting support (scheduling, facilitating, meeting minutes, weekly reporting)
- Establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships externally across Warfare Centers (NSWC PHD) as well as internally with Team Leads, Chief/Senior Logisticians, Line Managers, Project Managers (PMs) and Technical Project Managers (TPMs)
- Work independently and within a team to effectively manage multiple tasks within a dynamic and fast pace work environment
- Adjust schedule to support NSWC PHD west coast time difference as needed
- Utilize MS Teams and MS 365 Suite to build action item trackers, capture and store meeting highlights, and communicate across the team
- Utilize SharePoint to properly capture and manage data, files, and workflows
- Travel as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field AND 5 years of DoD Integrated Product Support (IPS) / Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) experience OR an Associate's degree AND 10 years of DoD IPS/ILS experience
- Experience with DoD ILS DMSMS/Obsolescence Management, Spares Planning, Program Support Data (PSD), and Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAM) management
- Understanding of DMSMS and Spares Planning with the ability to assess and identify risk of materials and parts shortages or becoming obsolete
- Experience writing and preparing briefs, reports, budget reviews, and presentations for leadership O-6 level and above
- Experience coordinating and facilitating meetings
- Familiar with the 12 DoD IPS/ILS elements
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel when necessary
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), MS 365, MS Teams, and SharePoint
- Active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience providing Navy Weapons Program Executive Office (PEO) IPS/ILS support
- Experience with NEPS
- Experience with data analytics and visualization, including the use of Tableau, Power Bi, or Python
Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $95,000.00 to $130,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTA's total compensation package for employees. This position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
