VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Military Data / Systems Analyst with installation management and force structure management experience to join a team of professionals responsible for the management of a US Army program. The program provides detailed data about current and projected force structure and other demographics at Army installations worldwide. Army planners at installation, major command through Headquarters, Department of the Army level use the program as the basis for facility planning, military construction projects, resource analysis, future stationing decisions, and informing congressional staff.

Job Requirements:

• Maintain and improve data collection processes by coordinating with stakeholders, applying subject matter expertise to review input data for quality and completeness, cleanse and transform data, updating system business rules, and collaborating with other team members to ensure system functionality and data accuracy.
• Translate customer requirements, query databases, develop reports and assist users with manpower related inquiries
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, government representatives, and the user community to gather and disseminate information
• Assist in updating and delivering remote and hands-on training

Job Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Ten years of military or civilian experience on Army or major command staff
• Five years of experience in one or more of the following: installation management, DoD or Service force structure or force management, DoD strategic or operational planning level.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Microsoft Power BI Certification

Desired:

• Experience in Army force structure systems, personnel management systems, or Army Installation Management systems
• Database management system experience with MS Access, Oracle or SQL Server
