Junior - Senior Level Acquisition Analyst 180188
VISTA Technology Services (VISTA) is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support a Navy Program Management Office with programmatic, financial and acquisition management services. The Acquisition Analyst shall apply knowledge of the defense acquisition process to support clients in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process, policy and procedures also devise innovative strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with interfacing smoothly and comfortably with program managers, engineers, and analysts from the various services, agencies, and combatant commands and program management offices to collect and assimilate data
-Experience with developing executive-level briefings and other deliverables
-Experience with identifying, developing, or evaluating plans and approaches and performing evaluations, studies, and analyses in support of innovative acquisition approaches and acquisition management initiatives
-Knowledge of the DoD PPBE and JCIDS processes
-Knowledge of DoDI 5000.02, DoDI 5000.75, and related statutes
- Strong written and oral communication skills
-BA or BS degree in Business or Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with developing executive-level briefings and other deliverables
- Experience with recent acquisition agile pilots or programs
- NDAA knowledge applicable to innovative, rapid, and middle-tier acquisition or acquisition agility
-Possession of excellent technical writing skills with ability to communicate understandable technical documentation
