VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst to join the current team in support of our PAE Maritime customer. This is a hybrid position reporting onsite 3 days a week in Washington, DC.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, self-starter, problem solver, ready jump in, learn quickly, and join the team in supporting both the customer and the mission by providing logistics spares support to the LCS Mission Modules Program under Directorate of Portfolio, Acquisition, and Enterprise (DPAE) Expeditionary & Mine Warfare (E&MW).
Responsibilities:
- Provide logistics support to the LCS Mission Modules Program, with an emphasis on sparing and supply support
- Lead the effort on coordinating the Program Office’s submission to the annual Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAM) process, to include facilitation of Program Support Data (PSD) sheet updates, completion of spares buy lists, and preparation for onsite program reviews with the OPNAV Spares Assessors
- Track and report on all OPN-8 spares funding and expenditures
- Support the development and maintenance of logistics documentation and deliverables
- Engage with a variety of stakeholders across program acquisition, logistics, engineering, and field activity teams to facilitate coordination and support mission execution
- Assist with planning and coordination of logistics activities to support program acquisition and sustainment objectives
- Collect, organize, and analyze logistics and program data to support planning, reporting, and risk identification
- Develop presentations, provide regular updates to logistics briefs, track action items, and provide general meeting support
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced program environment
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree AND 5 years of experience providing acquisition, logistics, or program management support to a Navy/DoD Acquisition Program Office OR 8 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience supporting Integrated Product Support (IPS) or life-cycle sustainment planning activities for Navy/DoD acquisition programs
- Experience developing presentations, facilitating high-level brief updates, providing meeting support, and tracking action items in support of program leadership
- Knowledge of Department of Defense acquisition life-cycle processes (DoD 5000 series) and sustainment planning
- Familiarity with Navy Spares funding, including Other Procurement Navy (OPN-8) funding, and the BAM and POM processes
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams including Contracts/COR, Engineering, Finance, and other Fleet stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively with minimal supervision
- Critical thinker with strong analytical, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and SharePoint
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting a Navy Acquisition Program Management Office
- Familiarity with Program Support Data (PSD) sheets and the PARTS database Familiarity with Navy BAM modeling processes such as Readiness-Based Sparing (RBS) in support of the budget cycle and fleet readiness
- Familiarity with Navy supply chain and provisioning process
- Experience developing logistics deliverables such as Interim Supply Support Plans (ISSPs) and other sustainment documentation
Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $105,000.00 to $130,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTA's total compensation package for employees.
