VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist to work onsite at the Naval Air Station Base in San Diego, CA.

The Warehouse Specialist will conduct inventory, receive and ship parts, assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse, and abide by all safety and compliance laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
• Loading and unloading of shipment delivery vehicles.
• Marking and labeling warehouse stock.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
• Reports inventory levels to team lead by conducting physical counts of Organization Airborne Mine Counter Measures (OAMCM); reconciling with data storage system.
• Assist with maintaining physical condition of warehouse.
• Assist with fiscal year objectives; analyzing yearly shipments and transfers of gear; initiating corrective actions.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Interact and communicate professionally with all levels of employees, both civilian and military.

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of warehouse-related experience;Civilian or Military warehouse experience preferred.
• H.S. Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Able to work in a team environment and have good work ethic.
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs.
• Must be able to obtain a forklift license within 120 days of start date; Current Forklift License preferred
• Knowledge of Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM) and/or Surface Mine Countermeasures (SMCM) equipment and parts preferred.
• Familiar with DOD shipping documents, classification status, and transportation processes as well as NAVOSH and OSHA regulations preferred.
• Working knowledge of Naval Logistics and the Navy Supply System preferred.
• Ability to read schematic diagrams preferred.
• Experience in component kit building, including the assembly, maintenance, and updating of components preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance; Active Secret Clearance preferred

Salary Range for this Position: $50,000 – $60,000 annually.
